Prefect Induction

Yesterday was State High's prefect induction. Congrats to all of our prefects/school leaders who got recognized :)!! It was actually quite idno touching since its our last ever prefect induction and all, 4 years of sitting in the seats watching others, its finally our turn! Sang the school song there properly for the first time and I know most of the lyrics thanks to Japan trip :)

你知道難過時哭不出來的感覺有多麼痛嗎?

I wasn't going to do this now, but I just.. felt the need to. Today, I found out my beloved dog passed away from an accident. To be honest, in words its a bit hard to describe how I feel. It seems like feeling hasn't quite sunk in yet my heart is heavy in some way and I think only now am I beginning to feel the first tendrils of grief take over. The family who adopted her invited sunny & my family over to dinner but seeing as we were busy moving house, only I could make it (dad told me to go cause I seemed stressed studying this week). The mother ended up telling me that sugar (my dog) had passed away.... and I stood there numbly, not even being able to shed a tear then. No, I'm not a unfeeling cold creature, I just seem unable to cry.

Apparently this happened a while ago but last time it wasn't right to bring it up since we had guests when they came over. It was all an accident really, apparently their family went to Taiwan so they left sugar at a dog hotel place and then one day, sugar decided to try dig under a fence/wriggle under it and somehow injured her head. It was too late when they got her to the vet the next day. I do not blame the sugar's family at all, the mother was crying when she told me all this. I know from the bottom of my heart that they treated sugar both with love and care. In fact, even more than I ever did probably and thats what I regret. Last year, everytime I was invited over to see sugar, I couldn't make it because I just had to have work on that particular day. I never made time, I couldn't just have skipped one stupid shift to go see her, and now she's gone.

I originally went today, hoping to see her, as only the rest of my family have seen her (since they could make it all the time last year). I haven't seen sugar since 2010, and I never will again =\ I never treated her well enough. All the times I was having a bad day, picking her up would honestly make me feel so warm inside, it was as though she knew when to come over and start being all cute. Why didn't I talk her for walks more often, why didn't i feed her better tasting food.

That fluffy white creature i picked up at the start of grade 8 was my first ever dog. I can remember everything, picking her up in a cardboard box, taking her to the petshop to buy her supplies, giving her the first ever bath.

Even waking up at midnight just to spend time with her on the first night at our house cause she was whimpering out of loneliness. Her chomping on all of the choc-chip cookies janice and I baked for our sleepover and then going on to puke all over our lounge room, her biting the corners of our books, running maniacally around the house, barking at cars. Her running upstairs and jumping onto my bed, her sitting beside the dining table giving us doggy eyes, begging for food scraps. Her being bitten by an ant for the first time and gingerly walking on her remaining three legs while whimpering, her putting up a fight every night when we tried to bring her back into the laundry where she was supposed to stay after we went to bed. Her following me around everywhere, her chewing on everything in sight while going through her teething phase.

I am cursed, really, I think I've been cursed to have bad luck. Every time I was invited to see sugar, I had a shift. And when I go see her, I find out I can't anymore. Rest in peace sugar, sounds overrated but I still hope anyway. I'm sorry I had to give you away, sorry I didn't come round to see you enough, sorry that I never made enough time to just throw toys around with you. I hope you really had a nice time with both us and your new family though. Goodbye..

It seems unfair, she was only 3 years old, it makes me question, were the staff at the dog hotel even looking after her properly. Were they watching her, did they bring her to the vet with urgency or did they just leave her to suffer in pain until they could be bothered to get her to there the next day? I miss you so so so much.

Day was boring, as usual. I'm starting to concentrate less and less o_o argh. Probably cause my mood has been fluctuating alot lately =\ Anyways, today we had to all go PAC for pcl class - -" they started showing us our grade's practice QCS results. Man we really fail lol. So many of the sections were below state average haha and they kept enforcing how important it was :s i don't think anyone really tried for the practice exams but whatever you know. They also listed the people who topped certain sections.

TROLOLOLOL apparently i was one of the people who near the top so they listed my name with a whole bunch of other people :L My story was lame, it was about running through a forest but okay. Whatever floats your boat :L Funny how the story that got me the essay award in primary was also to do with a forest o_o So, to be acknowledged, the teachers must have liked it. In liking it, that means teachers like forests :D LOL too many umat drills, except this was a fail example of mine since you know, i'm not actually a writer of umat exams. Omg i'm going psycho

Ahhh I've only done my homework today =\ no extra study, damn. Did like 3 drills for umat only as well. I really really suck at section one. Dude, like 6/20 for one o_o so fail. But got 12/15 for section two which i finished like 5-6 minutes early :D

I've survived the first few days of grade twelve apparently, so i'm able to sit here blogging haha. Okay anyways, yesterday chinese school started as well - -" and when I got there it turns out my class was collapsed for some reason and we had to move into the next available class - 10B, note that we were originally in 8A. So basically, I'm screwed for chinese school lol, we had to skip a whole friggen book ._. and yeah...LOL but at least I know 3/4 of the people in my class. One of my new classmates was trying to introduce himself to this other guy in my class and it was just a tad awkward LOL.

Afterschool we went to collect fish & pineapple cake from two of our family friends ._. pretty random i know and then lunch and then we went to pillow talk to get a new duvet cover for me :D. There weren't that many good patterns but I didn't want to get those really girly pinky thingyos with flowers everywhere so I settled on this bird one which my mum says is too simple but whatever, its a change from my old one. Sorry guys that's about all that happens in my life these days :L

Umat drills

I am determined not to have that frustrated hopeless feeling like I had last year and so far I think I'm doing okay. Well at least I'm doing my homework properly and I've started the UMAT drills. I should aim to do more though, I don't think I do enough =\

Haha I suck most at section 1 ( logical thinking/statistics/problem solving) and I'm not that great at next-in-sequence ones either. Argh this is when I regret not being interested in a broad range of things like my brother. The only the I find better than the others is section two (reflective thinking, doctor-patient drills etc.). Just got 10/13 for one of the reflective drills. The problem is that's only like 77% accurate and I don't know if I should be happy or not. I don't know if I should have really high expectations and then possibly be disappointed by them later or if I should set 'realistic' but lower goals so I feel accomplished. Hmm, well I certainly don't want to screw up as bad as last year.

I must push myself. :@ GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO PENNY CHEN. Totes need to get rid of facebook but can't bring myself to yet :s

*sigh School starts tommorrow =\ Oh how I miss Japan, yes I'm still missing japan even I've returned for 3 months or so. I wonder how my friends there are doing, hopefully they haven't forgotten us. They all went to New zealand like last week though ( they are in the international class at their school so they have to go to New Zealand to live as a student for a whole year with no teachers ) !

Vanilla Chiffon cake

I decided to bake today since I suddenly had a craving for vanilla chiffon cake (hence the cake is without decorations). I was originally planning on making heaps of things these holidays but didn't end up doing so. Okay I know I know, its really ugly, but I still feel slightly proud since the recipe instructions were all in chinese and it still turned out relatively okay :D

The top was alright, but the bottom died cause it was stuck to the cake pan =\ But it tastes good, probably cause I was craving it before but yeah haha. I need to polish my baking skills, the cake looks ugly. All good though, cause it'll just be my brother & I eating it probably :L

Coconuts

Hello guys, I haven't been doing much over the few days haha, yes as you can see one of the more eventful things I did was eating a coconut. That sounds so sad LOL but yeah, i found it fascinating, dad originally bought one to drink so I sat there and observed him drilling a hole inside the coconut using a knife. I actually thought the knife would snap haha but it didn't :o. Then we chopped the coconut in half to see what it looked like :D and had some, at like 11:00 at night, haha so unhealthy.

Also went to a Jap restaurant again for dinner :D We're eating out more often these days, probably cause my dad is earning some extra cash with him being a IT by day and a locksmith by night LOL. He always asks us what we want to eat and we end up choosing Japanese :) Should go try some new foods though, I've only tasted Taiwanese, Italian, Japanese, Korean and.... Australian? if that even exists LOL <--- by which I mean the whole steak&salad mum cooks like 4 days out of a week = =" Wow my posts are so random, I switch from one subject to another ;o

Was cleaning out my room today ( to get ready for school) and I found this little bird thingyo that my teacher gave me in grade four for easter. Ah, it's still so hard to accept I'm going to be in grade 12 this year, 17 YEARS OLD :O To be honest, I still feel like I'm fourteen or something like that. My days are going by so fast recently, I can't even remember what I do or what happens throughout the day but by the next day, I can't remember, I don't think this is a good sign lol. I have no sense that its a new year, I don't have any particular dreams I want to fulfill, in fact its all a bit of a blur. Sitting here hoping some random thing will motivate my will to do things carefully and properly again haha.

Oh man, life feels so dreary its not even funny. It basically consists of waking up at 8, going to Gym, coming back home, procastinating before going to the library to 'study'. Yet somehow I can't seem to get my mind to focus on what I'm supposed to be learning. In fact, i'm thinking about the petty problems in my life/ how I'm going to manage a ginormous amount of work when school starts. I'm so scared of grade twelve, not even kidding. I think everything from last year has drained away the small shreds of confidence I had left, I'm doubting before I've even started, not a good sign. Oh and i feel no motivation whatsoever to study, forgot what it feels like to study properly now, I'm always so distracted, or maybe discontent I should say. -sigh-

Anyways apart from that I finally went somewhere today, even if only for an hour or so. Eva& I decided to go have our much awaited 'fat day' after like gyming :D Went to Grill'd and max brenners, we split it for both cause we're cheap like that 8)

Felt so overloaded after that though, nevertheless, very yum :) Gosh i'm going to turn into a even bigger blob. I hope something interesting happens soon i'm going to go crazy, literally. Feel isolated/bored / no life D: I'm one of the more fortunate to have a roof over my head/food/parents yet i'm sitting here complaining.

Okay today I was meant to go Gym and meet up with friends for lunch before going back to QUT library again to study but elaine ended up persuading me to stay. I feel so guilty lying to my dad though ): spent the whole day on a guilt trip whilst having fun somehow haha. We met up at around 11:15am and then went to buy milktea using my new loyalty card 8) felt good having 5 stamps put on cause all my friends used mine :D!

So anyway, me and elaine split this beef&rice dish cause we were cheap & after we went to play pool, girls vs guys, we lost ): Richie shouted us pool, gotta pay him back sometime haha and then uhm we went GOMA again ( well techinically elaine,kaido,daniel&richie did since they went in morning before meeting up w/ me) and we went to magic land. Yes, I know, everyone's been there haha, but whatever, its cool :)

Afterwards richie took us all to try Madtongsan II for the first time, must say its one of the best korean restaurants i've been to, the last few were a bit pricey and they didn't even give us that much food :O

In the Depths of the Library

Let me tell you about a little adventure I had yesterday. Actually, I wouldn't really call it an adventure, more like a brief time stuck inside a deserted building, don't laugh lol. Okay this is how it went, I was being forced to study in the library at QUT and being me, i went to the place where the highschool textbooks were located. As you know, this is a university library we're talking about here, so naturally there was no one in the highschool study section.

There was no sound, no announcement, no one came to check up on me and thats how I ended up still in the library 45 minutes after it was meant to be closed. No lights went out, the computer screens were on, the air con was still on, everything was as per normal. It was normally completely silent where I study anyway so I didn't notice anything. After a while, i decided to leave and realised there was no one in the library at all, I was thinking I couldn't have been cursed to enough to be locked inside a library. I walk down to the emergency exit ( the entrance since the usual is under construction) and guess what? It's locked.

Okay don't laugh, but it was scary at that moment, imagine the silence, with only the sound of air con above your head. Imagine the sun disappearing into the horizon and not a soul in sight. Get the picture? Okay no lol, lame attempt at covering my failness but yeah, ended up calling dad who called security and my mum came as well. So embarassing, he had to come in and call my name and i was sorta trying to explain why i didn't leave the library except i didn't know what to say. So awkward & the guy was all nice like, 'uhh.. um.. don't worry, It happens all the time' OH MAN SIF T_T

Hello guys, I just realised that my last post was the 600th post I've written since I started this blog, can't imagine I had all that much to say haha. Basically a recap of events below :)

Last Sunday

-Went on a fishing trip to a lake with sunny & bill's family

-Fed the black swan in the lake with croissants :D

-Me, sunny & her sister made lunch by chucking random food on the BBQ

-Sunny's dad amused himself by fishing for ages and in the end only he caught fish LOL (it was his first time fishing i think)

-Us kids played monopoly, cards & I beat bill in chinese chess ( well we both have pretty bad luck so we were seeing who would get better chess pieces and I found out i'm luckier than him by a bit) He won a few games, pretty even I would say :L

Friday

-went elaine's house for a sleepover

-ate cookies and a bowl of rice porridge for dinner while watching a movie till like 2am

Saturday

-next day woke up five min before paul, daniel & deborah (church friends) came over to hang out

-failed at monopoly T_T

-Sunny's dad came over to our house to drink beer with my dad

-Whole family went out to eat at Sakura, a Jap restauran :) Pretty good but a bit pricey D: But i must say their Ikura (salmon roe) was almost the same as Japan's, pretty good :D

New Years Eve

So, a year has passed. 2011. Hmm... it seems to have passed by quite quickly despite it not being quite so pleasant. I could say that this year hasn't been my academic year but yeah, what can I say? All I hope is that next year, things will go well. Thankyou to those who made my year so memorable and enjoyable :) I will never forget!

Must say that the highlight of the year was the school Japan trip, it was amazing. So, next year will be my final year of schooling, sounds scary but its true. I will be seventeen, I will graduate, I will get a job, learn to drive, I will become an adult. That all sounds so scary, I never imagined I'd make it, I didn't imagine I would be like this. When i was young, I always expected I would look tall and mature when I was in grade 12, I'd expected myself to be in control of everything, guess thats not true eh? Haha, Well, this is my last chance, my last year. I'm going to do well, I have to. So goodluck to all of my fellow classmates who are also coming with me into the year of 2012. I hope that all goes well :)

Beach trip

Hello guys :)

I've spent the past two days holidaying with sunny & bill's family :D Basically our parents decided to drag us all out to coolangatta for a swim except the moms were too scared of getting dark so they didn't go in the water with us and went shopping instead lol. It was basically only the kids and both sunny&my dad that went into the ocean. Us kids ended up digging a gigantic hole in the sand after a while, yes we had nothing better to do. But i gotta say, made me remember my childhood, happily going anywhere and finding amusement on something so simple, nothing to worry about.

Bought 80 pieces of sushi & a bucket of KFC which everyone shared for lunch, surprisingly we actually finished it all o_o afterwards drove to a park and went to play in the playground with bill & sunny while our brothers slept/chilled in the car LOL. Then the kids cooked dinner 8) Oh , mum bought me a pair of sandle shoe thingyos while I was swimming before , $20 only 8) so asian, feels weird wearing them though.

Us kids played cards till 11:30pm in the motel room before sleeping. Went mountain climbing the next day which was tiring. It was technically a 4hour walk but we gave up two thirds of the way LOL only my dad made it to the top. Funny as, sunny's dad called my dad to ask if he was at the top yet and my dad said nearly. Then sunny's dad was like

'oh yeah, i'm right behind you 8)'

In fact, he was with us LOL and after my dad realised, sunny's dad was like 'oh but i need to protect them!'

FAIL LOLOLOLOL

You're asking what happened to the rest of the adults? well the women basically gave up one third of the way and bills dad was telling bill he had to get to the top and then so we kept climbing. Twenty minutes later bill gets a phone call from his dad who says 'i can't do it anymore, too tired. I'm going down now'

haha us kids were like :L Went back to beach later again, had lunch, messed around. I saw these two dogs that reminded me so much of sugar :D so cuteee！

Had korean BBQ with bill's family　for dinner, they ripped us off man, the people gave us barely any meat, only fat - -" sunny had to go home ): Oh well. It was a good trip though, haven't actually gone to the beach in ages! Rather be anywhere than at home to be honest though.

Woke up at around 9 today and had free reign of the computer cause dad was out :D found out the books i wanted to read were available for download online, i feel so ripped off now, buying all those books. Oh well, i guess its my contribution to liquidation throughout the universe -coughcough-

I'm starting to think whether or not i should've been born a guy o_o i realised the other day that i'm actually not that fond of clothes shopping, in fact the only times i enjoy shopping for myself is when i'm looking at stationery or books. I often get bored and tired of clothes shopping cause i'm not interested and i end up wearing second hand articles of clothing more often than the ones i buy ;o which totally defeats the purpose haha. I like shopping for people's birthday presents though, as weird as that may sound, i find it easier to buy someone else's item than my own, probably cause i have no idea what i want but yeah. Oh and i also have a really bad temper :s

Today sunny's family invited our family over for a christmas dinner, i was so fun. NOT. you know why? cause we didn't end up going D: dad claimed i just wanted to see sunny and didn't consider others - -" pft no , i just wanted to celebrate christmas unlike the past few years. My mum told us to go without her cause she was a bit sick but yeah dad started chucking a spazz, turned out it was cause he didn't want to go. I feel at a loss to be honest. Being forced to study, I'm sick of hearing about studying. Have you studied today yet? How many hours have you studied? Did you focus when you studied today? Come back home early so you can study. Go to the library to study. What did you study today? Stop desiring and start studying. I'm so sick of hearing the word 'Study'.

I feel so pressured to study on the holidays and of course I understand the need for it but I hate being reminded all the time and having that heavy weight at the back of my mind every time I try to enjoy my leisure time. Its holidays, give me a break, its not as if I'm not planning to study at all. Every single time I try to relax, I feel guilty. Is it wrong to be able to relax without having these feelings? What I hate most though is you're right, I'm not enjoying my study, I'm not focusing, I'm not doing enough, its just I don't care to admit it to myself. In fact, I'd rather live in a world of oblivion, numb to the little thoughts that plague my mind. I'm sick of feeling sorry for myself, hoping that others' comforts will fill the emptiness.

To be honest, I know. Your words remind me of just how little I'm doing to improve my situation and I hate that. The little cowardly part of me that is unwilling to face reality. I have no idea how to get a grip, to get back what used to be mine. The confidence in exams, the carefree feeling while waiting for my report cards and results. Perhaps its seeing others getting the ideal results without working half as hard as I did before, maybe that's what happened. But all this is just excuses now, I've grown so used to hiding in my own excuses its pathetic. I'm content listening to the words of comfort offered by others and shrouding myself away from the realities of life. I have no idea what I'm doing, I have no idea what I want to do in the future anymore. I have no desire to do anything in particular, not even things I used to enjoy and it scares me just a little bit.

Nothing really fills the void; the internet, reading, watching TV, going out. All of it is just a temporary replacement to what seems to be missing. I feel cut off from the world yet this sacrifice is not beneficial to me both physical and intellectually. How pathetic. I'm sick of being ashamed, sick of wanting to hide the results, sick of having the hopeless feeling before exams. I honestly don't know what happened to me, perhaps its that I look back on the past too often and rely on the old memories to give myself a boost. But, it no longer works anymore. Its so easy to wallow in self pity, waiting for a day when miraculously I will be hit with a wave of motivation, motivation to work hard, motivation to be a person I want to be.

Everything you say forces me to face the real situation, that I'm no longer who I used to be, that I'm not moving forward while others are, that I can't just keep waiting forever. I've come to realize that what you say is true. Without hard work, I'll be nothing, without the intellectual ability I'll only end up as a good-for-nothing and pathetic person that relies on someone else. Its not beauty, charm, talent that will get me through the rest of my life.The only possible asset is the academic results I could achieve by hard work.

People who once looked at me as a equal now look down on me, its shameful really. I don't want to be one of those that people look down upon yet nothing I am doing is preventing it. Yes, the truth is, I don't want to face myself, face the reality, banish the pride that always gets in the way between you and me and I'm sorry for that. However pathetic it sounds, I do feel a measurable amount of guilt. Yes, that word again. Guilt. Perhaps its time to motivate myself with something more, I don't know, but something needs to be done fast.

I know its probably a bit late to say this, but sorry for the mass load of self pity I just dumped on the unfortunate souls who just read this, its nothing really. Just a load of complaints yet again. Argh i really need to stop doing that. asdfawefasdf not good penny. Publicizing my complaints at life.

So, on monday I went iceskating with Jennifer, elaine, becky, albert, kaido, richie, daniel and terry. Took the bus there for the first time and we had no idea where to get off so I had to go ask the bus driver cause no one else could be bothered LOL we were like the only people on the bus except this other chick. Spent majority of the time playing tiggy and then saw sandra/phuong/sarah etc.

It felt so good to be out of the house lol, haven't iceskated in like years but yeah, it was so fun! Felt free for the first time in a while haha + i also go some exercise rather than just sitting home and watching TV. Woke up the next day feeling super sore though LOL my whole body was aching and i almost couldn't get up, not even kidding lol.

A few of us bussed back and then went to the cafe near SLQ where richie, albert & jennifer bought some coffee/hot chocolate before we went to maccas so jen/kaido/albert could buy some food to eat haha. Then of course we went with richie so he could do some formal shopping hahahaha well, more like window shopping but whatever. He liked this suit and was planning to buy it next week BUT he spent the 300 dollars pay he got on tuesday on his camera flash gun LOL so much for saving up but yeah, i just laughed at him :L

Been meeting up with jen to have lunch randomly LOL, richie came yesterday too and we chilled at a cafe. Realised i haven't been to many places to eat haha, i'll make that my goal then i suppose and go broke eating lunch. Kay i haven't been blogging frequently, starting to sound like a bit of a retard haha i think my brain has stopped working over the holdiays.

Sadly my expectations of japanese food have increased now that i've been to japan and the food wasn't as great but still good i suppose haha, i'm critical of food now, well more so than before.I ordered all the food i tried in japan, i'm so proud of myself, i actually ate ikura ( salmon roe) & i normally hate seafood but i decided to give it a go after jennifer convinced me it was very yummy haha, but i still like the ones in japan more, they're much nicer.

Oh and i went to watch Breaking dawn with Jennifer, it was a free screening with popcorn, lollies and drinks 8) it was pretty good :D and i tried out this hairstyle my host sister did for her school performance. I still miss japan so much, don't think i'll ever forget how fun it was.

So my mum went back to taiwan and left us so me & my brother have to cook dinner/wash dishes/clean the house/hang the clothes T_T so gay. In fact i'm the so called 'girl' in the family so i'm supposed to do all of these things & my dad says we are mistreating him with the food we're giving him ( well just jokingly) but yeah personally i think the effort we put in is acceptable.

Hello guys, its approximately 12:09am in the morning and I was just doing my physics EEI which is due on friday T_T I'm proud i'm not cramming it like before but somehow i keep finding myself stuck in front of my computer and I don't even know what to write like literally. Ever since i started caring about getting A for english, i've started spending ages just pondering what i should write and i think that habit is starting to rub off on my other assignments which is bad cause thats not what they are about, its not about english! - -" its about the content , oh gosh. I am so screwed. Okay need to stop saying that but yeah.

Got a crappy mark for my english vignette which really disappointed me cause I used to be one of those kids who were better at writing figurative stories than essays but I guess thats not the case now, apparently a sub marked it though ( like she was crazy literally, she gave kevin chen a B- and he is normally an A+ student) I'm thinking of getting it remarked but like idno. Disappointing =\ Oh well, i'll try harder next time! On a brighter note i got my Japanese writing test, math B assignment & math C assignment back :)

Did better than i thought I would ( but majority of it was due to my boss who helped me along the way by like heaaaps ) I wonder if I can get an A by myself without asking anyone, need to improve on math! but yea : Jap, Math B & math C below. Haha going to try motivate myself with these marks, my self esteem has dropped so much this year and its really affecting my marks, i find myself giving up before i've even started so i'm going to try and be positive

Hello guys, its friday already, time seems to pass so fast these days, probably cause there is always so much work to do ( but i procastinate) LOL okay that doesn't make sense but whatever. Today was state high's bandanna day so people were going around selling them for $4 dollars each ( proceeds went to cancer funds). I wasn't planning to buy one but I ended up getting one cause I just randomly felt like it + it does go to cancer, so yeah :)

I also went badminton training today again, there weren't many people there so it was pretty fun since we had the court to ourselves again, we beat this pair who were on the team but since rankings are over it didn't count so yeah ): But me & georgina's teamwork is improving so yeah, thanks to Justine for training us :D

Last period was math C, me & gracie spent the entire lesson trying to figure out how to tie my bandanna into a bow LOL since we've been watching people walk around with them since last year and we never knew how. We experimented with many folding methods but failed so gracie used her phone to look up a video showing us how to do it..... and we SUCCEEDED 8) ! Well mainly gracie made the bow pretty LOL, and so yeah. I felt really awkward wearing such a big bow in my hair but oh well, its our hard work :D and yeah its awesome , okay lol doesn't make sense.

We also spent the lesson talking about formal next year & who was going with who ;) omg i can't wait to see who asks who and stuff, cause i'm just randomly curious like that ~ We were so lame we wrote on my rubber 'yes' 'no' 'try again' 'its possible' & threw it around to answer our 'questions'. It went something like this:

Went to city afterschool today to pick up Battlefield 3 which i pre-ordered for my brother since it was limited edition and he wasn't allowed to do it for himself cause he's still like 14 lol. Okay so other than that, i had badminton training this morning, i didn't make it on a team so this year i won't be competing T_T sucks cause I've been on a team every year, so sad that i was in A team last year and this year i'm not even on a team. But yeah, we got asked to go as reserves - -" but whatever, i still went training for the sake of it :) It was good today though cause we had the courts to ourselves, unlike yesterday.

I got to school, arrived at F block and saw the graffiti some grade 12 seniors stupidly put on the roof/side of the building - -" this years pranks have gotten way out of hand, its not even funny anymore. I have nothing against the seniors, its just a handful of stupid people decided to put flares and smoke bombs during assembly, run down to southbank and get arrested THEN they have the nerve to graffiti 'SENIORS' on to F block and draw a friggen male genital on it. It was a total of like $2000 damage , seriously are they suicidal? The teachers were already angry cause those people ran down to southbank with UNDERWEAR when the QUEEN there -sigh- i feel embarassed for our school. Then apparently last week a grade nine got taken into the toilets and had his arms cut/scratched while he was blindfolded , for a prank . Idno, just seems a bit over no offense.

Okay so its the last year of school but you know, a few pranks is enough, not really bad ones that get you suspended/expelled/arrested D: Well kay i'll stop rambling. Did a bit of QCS practice, it was hard, most of the people i asked didn't finish haha. I spent half the lesson all chill and then realised there was so much to write ._.

Since i had a bit of spare cream in the fridge i decided to try making profiteroles for the first time in my life haha, a few of them were a bit flat because i took them out of the oven too early but overall they were okay i guess haha well for me anyway since i haven't actually tasted profiteroles before, only like once in japan & i can't really remember the texture well.

Also, my contact lens arrived today, my dad accidentally ordered grey ones instead of brown ones so they look pretty creepy, i'll probably never wear them haha but at least he ordered some clear normal ones :) I'm beginning to prefer clear contacts nowadays haha, i'm mostly too chicken to wear other ones out anyway. Yesterday my parents invited like 5 families over for a barbecue ( well he invited 7 but like 2 couldn't come so yeah ). I helped my mum cut fruit :D and rearranged them , she said i was a lazy kid cause i chopped so slowly lol but yeah at least i arranged it, she was about to chuck a whole bunch on a plate and just leave it lol :L

By the time dinner started, half of us was already full from snacks so we didn't eat much & went upstairs to play wii ( well ben was trying to learn piano from bill LOL).

We played around a bit with jenny's polaroid camera since she claimed she wanted to waste her last 3 films or something so she could open her new pack haha :D

Yesterday was student free day & sunny's birthday so she invited us to go have brunch to celebrate :) We were planning on going pancake manor but then like 20+ people turned up at the outing so we couldn't fit cause i didn't book it for sunny D: i'm sorry sunny!

Instead, we waited outside korean bbq for like 20 minutes just so they would open up and let us in hahaha, we got the biggest table and like everyone was so loud ._. Everyone was playing with these buzzer thingyos on the table which were supposed to be used for calling the staff, so embarassing lol. There were also these vent things which sucked up the oil/smoke from cooking and some people pulled it down and accidently sucked up some meat we cooked -facepalm- LOL.

Few people left afterwards and the rest of us went to watch Johnny english, it was a really good movie in my opinon. Recap of the Japan trip 2011

Hello guys, I feel as though i've been neglecting my blog alot so as you can see i changed my layout :D Hmm i never actually blogged about my trip to Japan properly so maybe i'll do so now. Basically we spent around 4 days in kyoto which involved going to see the famous temples: kyomizudera and Kinkakuji.

Both were sooo pretty, i'm never normally the type to enjoy scenery/historical places but this time it was different. We bumped into some schoolboys at Kinkakuji lol and they started looking at us ( probably cause we were foreigners) and then their teacher walked over and asked to take a picture with us haha. Except the guys were being shy and had to be dragged in by their teacher which was pretty funny considering they were like 180cm tall and the teacher was like 165-170cm hahahaha.

Of course, one of the best parts was staying in hotel rooms with my friends, the bed time was supposedly at like 10:00pm and the teachers said they would call to check up on us - never happened. So basically all the girls came to hang out in me/natalie's room and we had like midnight snacks while talking about random stuff. We'd talk till like 2am in the morning and wake up at 8:30 or something to go upstairs to the buffet where we had breakfast. I swear everything in Japan just amazes me lol, their things are so advanced and there is like all these pretty lunch packs in convenience stores! We even got to go separately to shop and to buy our dinner. Me, jenni, susan&dayadra ended up going to a dessert place after dinner in Kyoto station one night 8)

Went on a day trip to tokyo, it wasn't that fun to be honest but jenni got a maid dress ;) she's gonna wear it for her future boyfriend if he has a fetish for those things <_< LOL. just joking, she just likes cosplay. We also went to the Universal studios of Japan (USJ) which is basically like disney land, i don't get why everyone said it was boring. It was amazing, there was music playing the whole time in the theme park and we bought so much stuff and watched the hellokitty themed characters + other character walking around and we went on awesome rides. They are so different to Australian ones, its not all about thrill but the effects were so amazing. There was even this 4D spiderman ride.

We went Hiroshima next and went to see the atomic bombing place and stuff~ The shopping there was really good though, there is like 100yen shops in japan ( roughtly $1) called Daisou and omg. I love that store, that is all. Went to this building which was filled with Okonomiyaki shops to have dinner. The next day we visited Miyajima and there were these cute little ders walking around ngawws! Everyone was trying to take selfies with them haha and there was this pretty temple place there too.

Went by the Shinkansen ( bullet train) to Nagoya so we could change trains to Takayama except there was a storm so we had to chill in the waiting room for like 6 hours haha but it was all good cause we went to do a bit of shopping 8) Out of all the places i think Takayama was the most different. We stayed at the only youth hostel on the trip but it was really good and better than we expected.

We lived in the traditional Japanese rooms with Tatami (straw mats) and like slept on Futons :D + there was traditional jap breakfast too! Shopped around a bit, bought a massive bunch of flowers which the lady tried to give me a discount for at like 50cents ;o but yeah gave her 3 dollars instead- which is still really cheap. Had dinner at this awesome ramen place and took pictures with the guy they worked there.

The last place we went to was Gifu where we met our host families. Seriously everyone was really nervous in the beginning but gradually we all became good friends. My buddy was called Akane, she's like soooooo pretty <3 haha i know a few people from our trip who've like basically fallen in love with her hehe.Basically it was meant to be me&susan staying with her but then one friend got homesick so the teachers moved susan over to our friend's family~ But before that Akane & her parents took us to this place called 昭和村 where we made pottery and dyed clothes :) Felt bad though cause our host parents paid for everything which was $150+

Did calliagraphy & cooking classes there and made Takoyaki ( octopus balls), watched our buddies practice for the bunkasai ( culture festival) where they danced to lady gaga & Britney spears' songs. The bunkasai was so amazing, i wish our school had the lighting affects they did, we never do anything fun either i swear.Everyone went to karaoke after the culture festival. It was like 3 hours with 13 people in a room for 30 and everyone had to pay about $7 each only. So much cheaper compared to Australia lol - -'' They even have free icecream there. I'm proud that i sang one Japanese song 8) it was hard though~ but it was really fun :D My host mother drove us to school & picked us up every single day so I got to wake up at 7:30am while all my friends had to wake at like 5 or 6am LOOOL.

We had a farewell party at Tomita high (the school that we went to everyday in Gifu) and we all had to give speeches, then everyone went to take photos together which involved like everyone looking at 1000 different cameras LOL. The teacher gave each of us this really cute hamster plushie thingyo called Kapibarasan :) My host mother took me to eat at this expensive jap place & then bought Akane & I a pair necklace.

We were meant to go back to Australia on the 30th of September except our flight got cancelled cause the people went on strike so yeah 8) stayed in a 4 star hotel for free for a extra night. It had a gym, buffet & onsen ( hot springs) which everyone went to :D Went for last minute shopping~ I've written so much but I still can't elaborate how fun the japan trip was <3 i'll literally never forget it, one of the most happy times of my life. If anyone is contemplating going next year , YOU HAVE TO.

I'm slowly starting to get over the sense of loss after 2 weeks of genuine fun-filled happiness in Japan. Reality has started to sink in now. I felt completely happy for the first time in ages and I was able to experience the joy of just letting go and now I'm back in the hole. I've stopped the self pitying breakdowns now which is probably good, time to get on with life in Australia. Sounds so pitiful, it was probably quite pathetic of me to be hung up on such a small matter but yeah. Thats just me.

So many things I want to say yet its not important at all so I might as well not

blabber on~I'll just leave you guys with something to ponder :)

I've finally finished all my assessments for this term! :D (although i pretty much failed all of it literally ):) The only goodmarks i know of is for jap listening which i got A+ & mathB KAP exam A+ and the rest died, not even being modest here lol but yeah kay. So funny though i thought i was the only one cramming the chem EEI and turn out like half the grade was cramming it, i checked fb at 7am in the morning and there were still people up from doing chem, like literally pulling an allnighter & spazzing about it :L

Today was a pretty bludge day, had jap speaking test which i didn't even have time to prepare for hence i came up with random answers to the teacher's questions :L e.g.

me: um yeah :D

brownlie smith: so what kind of sport?

me: ummmm sumo?

& in the end she was like, 'oh you look so small i didn't think you'd be interested in sumo, have you ever seen it?'

LOL she took me literally but i basically just bs'ed my way through o_o i'm so bogan haha and when she asked me what i wanted to do in japan i was like 'watch traditional dancing & see temples' very smart answer penny, very smart, not what i want to do at all LOL.kay

Woke up at 8 today, blearily drank the greentea mocha my mum made me and went to chinese school. We had our end of term exam today which i didn't even study for - proving how slack i am. I didn't have time to do chinese or japanese homework this week but yeah, test was alright probs made a few errors like usual. I swear there isn't any point doing the test cause they allow us to use the dictionary hence we are able to look up words we don't know.

Instead of going to the warrigal fete afterschool i had to go buy souvenirs to give to my japanese host family so yeah and then to janice's new house to have lunch :D haven't talked to that girl in ages haha good to catch up, we literally talked non-stop and our mums were like <_< had to leave soon afterwards though, mum kept telling me to go home and do chem EEI. Argh i hate chem so much, i always get B for some reason, i think its just that i've started off with a B and i never put in enough effort for chem but yeah. Well gonna try harder next term when i come back.

walked around in sunnypark, went into some random asian store and found a $10 skirt :D normally i never shop for long cause i feel awkward/scared of the sales assistant but this time i was like oh well :L might as well. No point being scared for the rest of my life. pft mum let me buy it cause i need some bottom half clothing for japan? like shorts/skirts etc. since i actually only own 1 pair of proper shorts :L kay you guys didn't need to know but whatever i have nothing much to say.

Went to buy groceries with mum and saw reuben, yoshi & bumped into bill + his parents :L he waved and both me&mum waved back but his parents didn't realise and then like halfway along the alleythingyo i see this lady coming over and hugging my mum :L i thought it was some old friend and turns out it was bill's mum LOL and then they started talking about how their kids were stressed + staying up (aka me & bill ) and for some reason his mum was like ' oh your daughter gets good grades, she's so pro!' and i'm like -shiftyeyes- where'd that come from? i'm doing crap in school ): but yeah kay time to start working on chem again D: i hope i'm not giving up on myself already but whatevs.

You know whats annoying? when people talk about you right in front of your face and don't even have the decency to feel embarrassed when you hear them. So today I was on the bus when i heard some guy start talking to a girl he was trying to impress & then he was going all like 'oh yeah i sleep in jap class' so the girl was like ' oh is it that boring?' and being him he just said "nah, its just that its filled with all these stupid asians who piss me off''.

yes you start talking about how pathetic it was that natalie couldn't ride a bike when she told us that her jap homestay rode 80 minutes to school & how stupid I am that i didn't know who Ian thorpe or whatever his name is. yeah so? It's not like we're hardkore sport fans & have you ever thought about the fact that some of us grow up in ASIA so we don't have much space/time to learn how to ride a bike ? perhaps we're so busy working hard so we can get a job in the future and not have to leech off the government. I don't understand how such things would 'piss you off' & then you go like 'shit' when you realise i'm SITTING RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. - -" even the girl had the decency to feel a little embarassed ( even though she wasn't even the one saying anything) & you were all like 'pft i don't care'. Well i don't care how smart/sporty/intelligent you think you are.

If you want to say something why not say it to us? Is it so pathetic that natalie can't ride a bike? Should we understand / know EVERYTHING about something you know? Today was riverfire - which i didn't go to since there is always so many people. Actually thinking about it i haven' been in like more than 5 years haha, i had work today though :o i gotta say it was so tiring. I swear there were like more than 10000 constantly in front of maccas so basically my store had almost everyone who worked there on today yet we still died :p since we came prepared the managers already had like whole cartons of V & other energy drinks for us ( free too xD ) haha + lollies.

We were supposed to dress up as 'rockstars' but not many of us did so my manager told us all to wear the new mcflurry promotional T-shirts & everyone had to get their face painted LOL but yeah. pretty tiring but realtively fun. Omg i don't feel like studying =\ but i know i have to like a;osienf;awoeifn ! sucks ): but yeah japan soon i'll just focus on that :)

I can't even recall from when i started studying but during the past few weeks ( or since the day i started studying/cramming assignments) i've probably been getting about 3.5 hours of sleep every night, or like around 6.5 max. Its not even the fact that i'm just fully studying, its more like i even drag myself onto facebook/blog at like 2am in the morning after studying just to give myself my daily ration of internet haha. Thats just me though, i'm so socially dependent, i wonder when that started, i used to be able to do things by myself without feeling lonely/ like a retard. I had my physics exam level 1&2 this monday which i studied for like 3-4 days ( along with a bit of rest/procastination of course) yet i still didn't do well, most people said it was hard and they failed it but i wonder who is ACTUALLY going to 'fail' ( since you know alot of my friends say they fail yet get an A in the end ;o ) but like yeahh ; its like everytime i study now i never feel productive in the end. Today was my mathB KAP exam, unlike some people i actually have to study hardkore to at least scrape an A- so yeah. Considering most people said it was super easy i'm actually on the dumb side. Yes i admit the test was good, it wasn't as hard as i expected, no, in fact it was on the easy-ish side but i'm not like fully confident i'll get %100 or anything so is that weird? o_o Not doing so well in school <_<

Well japan trip soon! i got my host family info today :D her name is called Akane ito, such a pretty name ;o and like i get to ride bike + car to school ( most of my other friends have to bike 40min to school LOL) apparently its rare in japan for kids to get dropped off by car so like kaido said my family is probs rich <_< well like apparently i'm sharing the hostfamily with someone else cause they couldn't find enough buddies, only just ONE family has to share and i'm just coincidentally in it -sigh- but oh wells. Perhaps i should swap with someone since they are better friends with the person i'm sharing with ( if that make sense?) but yeah. haha gnights !

555th post

Wow this is officially my 555th post since grade 8 :D although alot of people have given up on their blogs i still like blogging alot for some reason. I guess i find it interesting to look back on what i used to be like haha. I've been cramming so much work this week, like the other day i had to cram english so i skipped MIFF ( music international food festival) in which i was supposed to perform. Felt kinda guilty but ya know, it was necessary ( due to my extreme laziness, great job penny). Ended up sitting there the whole day not knowing what to write & i crammed it till 2:30am in the morning before waking up at six to finish it.

I got to school, teacher told us the presentation had changed to wednesday, well at least we didn't have to present haha :D you know i swear i lose EVERY bet i make with elaine, like last time i was complaining how i'd be screwed for english cause i wasn't ready yet & then just on that particular day my teacher is away. Then this time i told her i'd be screwed as well and the presentation changes to wednesday lmao + when i bet with her i wouldn' get in 'A' strings, the orchetra i was in miraculously got changed from B strings to 'A2strings' ( still the same level just different name) <_< bad luck or what? haha maybe i'm just doomed to lose bets with elaine LOLOL.

I realise you're probably all thinking, if you're complaining about your marks so much, why do you bother blogging? well i guess it keeps me sane - well relatively anyway & besides its not like anyone will listen to me just complain/vent 24/7. I know friends are there for you sometimes but they can't always be, no matter what they promise, eventually they get tired of listening to you, eventually they get annoyed at you and eventually, they judge you no matter how hard they try not to. Well thats just my opinion anyway, i have a very cynical outlook on life.

Life sucks these days, well just a lot of work to catch up on i guess, i have like a physics exam next monday, a math B KAP on tuesday, MAP on friday & i also have my chem eei draft due which i haven't even started yet, sucksss. This makes me think i'm gonna be so screwed over in grade twelve ): Argh why do i have to choose senior to start bludging, i used to listen in grade 8! Just used the new blogger picture uploader, so annoying though since i can't minimise the window&keep blogging, i have to wait for it to finish uploading the pictures .. pft LOL. I doubt you guys even know what i'm talking about but whatever. Wish my blogging style was more interesting, i seem to ramble on alot about random stuff. Oh well, goodnight everyone! I actually should blog about alice's birthday BBQ first but like my SD card is being retarded so i'll upload photos/blog about that next time i blog haha ( which hopefully isn't like tommorrow cause i need to work on english ). OMGGGG gonna fail english poetry speech nxt week ;o it's like 12:23am and like i've only done half my DRAFT which i will need to finish+fix up + memorise for the rest of 'today' and make a powerpoint. Hopefully i'm not on monday or i will just dieeeeee.

For some reason every english class i'm in, we always seem to be the ones who have our assessments due sooner than other classes. Example: GUYS YOUR SPEECH IS ON MONDAY. Friend's teacher: GUYS, YOU GET 2 PRACTICE LESSONS NEXT WEEK AND YOUR SPEECH IS ON WEDNESDAY. So unfairrrr ): omg i wish i could get 6A's, no i need to get 6A's. Studied for math B diagnostic, next day the questions were really really easy and.....I SCREWED IT. Good job penny chen, i don't think cramming is going to work for you now. haha i keep getting distracted when i study <_< maybe i'm like sitting with the wrong people in class, lmao i used to sit next to like hardworking people ;o

Anyways, on saturday i went out to dinner at Vapiano with friends to celebrate my birthday, well actually we celebrated richie's as well since you know it was on the same week and everything haha. Thanks to jen, natalie, elaine, sunny, cindy, sally, kelly, georgina, bruce, kaido, albert, wongoo, kyle, jake, terry, richie, daniel, becky for coming :D/hanging out in the arvo haha. We were supposed to meet at 3:30 but me&jen came almost half an hour late cause while we were in city some unfortunate things happened o_o felt guilty so bought like 21 dollars worth of lollies to shout everyone bahaha. Wongoo bought like a whole bag cause he thought he was paying for it lmao and it ended up that we couldn't finish it :L

Walked around/went to play pool before the people who were coming late arrived and we went off to have dinner. Haha i only booked for like 16 people but 18 turned up soooo yeah didn't have enough chairs+ they allocated us to a dark place but overall it was still pretty nice :D Thanks to all my girlfriends who cleaned up my bag/camera/belongings after i stupidly spilt cindy's milktea on it :L after dinner we decided to karaoke/pool but then when we went to pay i couldn't find my vapiano card :L so we just kinda drifted out and the people didn't say anything LOL.

Pooled till like 8:40 and i left while sally, kelly, terry, wongoo & bruce stayed to keep playing haha , good day :D Thankyou shelley for giving me that beautiful card + bracelet at chinese school & sorry i made you get in trouble with your dad cause i talked to you for so long that you didn't seem him arrive to pick you up ;o

LOLOL got home, found the vapiano card and facepalmed, went to work on sunday and gave the card back+paid for my meal lmao and they didn't even seem surprised, maybe this happens often riiiight? maybe i'm not the only one that 'dine'n'dashed' -shiftyeyes-

Happy birthday richie!!

Hello, i'm back again. Argh i've only done math B homework today, i seriously need to catch up on work =\ Grade 12 seems to be getting awfully close and now i'm starting to worry like, alot. From other people's description, it seems like grade 12 is all about studying and then stressing, staying up to study and probably being upset over your marks, sounds really daunting. I've always felt like i had a long time but i guess the realisation is starting to hit me, if i don't study hard now i'll be screwed for grade 12.

Everything i've been doing has being adding up to this, getting a good OP yet i choose senior years to start slacking - -" I wonder where my motivation has gone? I've probably been sitting back letting myself get too comfortable. I know typing this probably won't help myself but yeah, kay i'm just venting some stress out again.

Hmmmm i keep having really hardkore moodswings - -" one minute i can just be so annoyed/tired of everything and the next minute it feels like i have hope back in my life, is this normal? bahaha okay maybe not. Feel like i don't have much time to myself these days, its like badminton monday morning, work tuesday arvo, aikido wednesday+thursday arvo, jap tutor+church friday arvo/night, chink school on sat & work on sunday.

things i need to improve on:

- don't be afraid to ask questions when i don't understand stuff in class, don't feel ashamed

-review stuff every day/do homework

-stop daydreaming/thinking about other stuff while i'm studying

-sleep earlier

-put my all in everything i do, stop caring what others think

-stop being so afraid of being judged

-get my priorities straight

basically if i improve those points my life would probably be so much better, i really want to get full A's on my interim so like my dad will stop controlling everything in my life + my parents will hopefully stop complaining for a whilee. Well dreams won't come true if i don't work hard. I seriously need that big turn around in my life atm. Pft yeah. OMG PENNY CHEN. STOP PROCASTINATING LIKE ::OINFSD:OF*Y*(WE! mos burger experience

good evening guys :) I just got back home from work so i'm home alone since i couldn't find anyone to fill my shift today &so the rest of my family went to sugar (my dog's) adoptive parents while i went to work. My brother kept telling me to wag it but yeah i don't want to - -" makes me feel guilty and i can't just not go, otherwise if there are lots of customers everyone dies so yeah i grudgingly went to work haha. Me, roseline and coco basically spend the whole of chinese class just waiting for it to finish/to be break time roflmao its like everytime we look dead and then when the bell rings faintly in the distance we're like -jumps up- OMG ITS BREAKTIMEEE :L

Anyways after chinese school i went to have lunch at mos burger for the first time. It was yummy-ish i guess but i think it got hyped up too much so it wasn't as like amazing as everyone said lol but yeah. Went to work, while i was cleaning up dining room a bunch of asian guys were sitting there watching me and then suddenly one of them goes: hey penny :D you're doing a great job! me being the slow introverted person i am, i was just like: ...errr thanks -awkward smile- i found it creepy for one second how they knew my name and i realised it was my namebadge lol.

Finished work and i realised i forgot my wallet at home T_T and parents were out so i had to like go be shameful and borrow money from my manager :O so embarrassing! But yeah, thanks Alex, though you'll never read this but yeah, thankyou :) Oh and a few days ago it was tim+tina's birthday :D so i baked some strawberry choc swirl cookies ( which i randomly invented with reference to another recipe) for tim but like only a few came out decent ;o and i had a plate piled high with the 'ugly' ones. Thank goodness my awesome friends said they wanted them so chucked them in a bag and just gave it to them bahahaha (H) saved me from eating too much junk :L

I don't really have much to say actually but i feel like i'm neglecting my blog. So basically over the past few days ummm i went to work LOL & this taiwanese backpacker chick came over to our house to visit us after 'travelling' all around Australia haha.

Since atheletics carnival i've been having these really really weird feelings but yeah i think i'm back to normal now so its all good (Y) Haha pretty trivial, nothing significant just confused feelings. Okay i don't make sense, haha. On a bright note, JAPAN TRIP SOON :D we get to go on a day trip to tokyo and go shopping at.... wait for it...... HARAJUKUU OMG YAY :)! thought we weren't gonna be allowed to go but turns out we can hehehehehe.

Hmmmm birthday next monday ; to be honest i'm not really that excited for some reason, i guess kinda dreading it cause idno i have this feeling i won't be very happy on that day. I sound so cynical but yeah. Apparently according to my mum, once people get old they stop being excited about their birthdays ._. okay. Well i'm a little curious but kinda dreading it? if that makes sense? Whatever LOL i'm talking about random nonsense just cause i have nothing to say.

Aikido tommorrow+thursday and then badminton on friday morning! That means i can get fit :D + grow tall, kay i wish but yeah. Bye!

school athletics carnival

SUP guys! :) ( LOL i just typed 'good morning' and realised it wasn't appropriate haha)
Today was Brisbane State high's annual athletics carnival and being such a good kid i went, most people were 'sick' -coughs- but yeah :D met up with sunny, cindy, kaido, daniel and richie at southbank, bought some food and took the 140 to QSAC :D

We spent the day being retards, taking photos, listening to music on richie's speaker, playing cards, walking around and overall watching kaido wear sunny's pink hat & sunglasses which he seemed to like alot ;) Bussed to sunnybank afterwards and everyone bought easyway 8) daniel&i discovered that we could actually get a free LARGE drink with our easyway cards , we've been asking for a medium one this whole time! LOL but yeah. Said our goodbyes to jennifer before cindy went to the supermarket to buy basil rofl and then we all left.

Behaved like such retards on the bus, before while richie was walking he banged into a pole, well like this railing thing and yeah he had to curl up on the ground for like 20 seconds before he could get up again :O so basically spent the whole bus ride talking about it. Daniel&kaido decided to be sick and started talking about weird stuff about richie @@ LOL Went to the aikido Dojo afterwards to watch sunny, michelle, vincent & my bro do aikido 8) Pretty awesome, after watching for a second time i might join - for the sake of getting fit ofc but yeah dno yet :D

dad wants me to quit my job before i go on the japan trip~ but hopefully if i join aikido i can grow taller :D sunny grew like 2cm this yearrrrr not fair. So yeah this concludes today, very happy today :)

Yesterday night was spent cramming my chemistry assignment T_T and at around 12 i started to feel really tired since i had only about 5 hours of sleep the night before ;o and my mum said my eyes were really red. So , giving myself an excuse i went to bed and set my alarm clock at around 1am except i didn't wake up till 7:30am in the morning so basically i was screwed for chem ): I'm such a procastinator, its not good for me yet i always choose to talk to someone/go online instead of doing my assignments, need some self control <_< and i tell myself this every single time. Basically i had to run to school, and on the way i stepped on dog poo , such bad luck today -sigh-

But yeah, all self inflicted ( well other than the dog poo of course, but then and again it could be karma) LOL pft. I'm so screwed for chem, too late to do anything now but just sayin' , better start decreasing my expectations. As they say, if there is no expectation, there will be no disappointment. Hello guys :) it's super late right now, well technically super early in the morning & i'm blogging, basically the story was, penny chen was doing her chemistry assignment, well about to anyway. And then, she checked facebook. End of story LOL, i fail at life man. But yeah, anyway, to the important stuff. Today was state high's 90th anniversary! :)

we were pretty lucky to be able to celebrate it this year while still in school & basically the day was spent 'perfoming'. Went to busstop early in the morning to meet with yee sum and jen, but turns out i was retarded and told jenni the wrong place ;o but yeah got to school on time ^^ got dressed in our yukatas.

The one cindy originally got for me was too short , which means i'm tall get it?? 8) Thanks for grabbing one for me cindy :D although i ended up wearing a 'longer' one.

But yeah, performed our dance like 3 times with friends watching, so embarassing! omg but yeah, then performed in the PAC as a orchestra later on, left school and went to watch HP7! haha the end. just spam with photos now. LOL richie took 3/4 of the photos, so credits to him :D bahaha he even made it look like i could actually play violin pro-ly! wonders of his photography

while i was about to perform, my friends decided to test the uh stretchiness of my cheeks, hence the retarded face 8) but yeah, everyone knows i'm a retard so doesn't really matter. If you don't know my retarded side, well, you're better off not knowing cause i'm really creepy 8) It doesn't look like it hurt but actually it did lol.

Well basically school life is just the usual, slightly stressful, boring, tiring, depressing all at the same time haha perhaps its the view of a cynical person like me but yeah. Today someone told me some stuff that happened and really it makes me so annoyed that there are still immature people out there who prey on others for no valid reason but jealousy. Okay hypocrite here yes i'm a jealous person but really? Are the actions of those people really justifiable? Okay i'm probably making no sense since i bet none of you know what i'm talking about ( well hopefully anyway) but yeah. If they want to act on their jealousy with such immature actions maybe they should go back to preschool - -"

btw, the other day it was hardout raining and it was all dark and everything and suddenly the sun comes out and shines at the same time ._. this is like 4pm in the arvo by the way haha. The photo doesn't quite capture the weirdness of it but yeah lol.

It's not anything aimed at me but it does concern one of my close friends so i obviously i would also feel strongly about this but yeah. They'd better stop it, or at least try grow up i hope. Hmm, the rest of the day went like a haze, went to a meeting for the japanese traditional dance thing on the school's 90th anniversary but yeah. I'm beginning to regret signing up, the dance is so embarassing cause yeahh ._. its unusual and i guess half of us can't even dance so yeah , PLEASE DON'T COME AND WATCH PLEASEE. Okay i just realised that you guys probably will just for the sake of it but yeah please don't D: I was fully sore from badminton training yesterday ;o i'm so unfit LOL. Spent the day feeling sore and tired ( i felt dead in math B for no reason, i think it might be the stuffy air but yeah). Wow i'm typing so much today haha.

Came home, made crepes and randomly melted chocolate and put it on top as well as cream ( since it was about to be overdue and i bought it with my own money and therefore didn't want to waste it rofl). Brother was sick at home again <_< so lucky. He always gets a fever on school days without the side effects of a cold and somehow i always get sick near exams, not a fever that'll stop me from going to school either but one of those that make you feel like crap -sigh- haha. So many random topics i'm cramming into these paragraphs haha if you're still reading, i'm very amazed but i'm pretty sure it's probably out of mild curiosity? YAY! it's friday again :D first week of school was alright, felt like i never went on holiday though LOL and got my report card which was fail = =" me&gracie promised to ourselves that we wouldn't bludge anymore in math C & we'd do our homework everytime lol. But yeah, apparently i got a VHA3 overall for physics so i'm pretty happy since i thought i would get a B :L & found out i got A for my english editorial 8) which means pretty much straight A's for english overall : A, A-,A but yeah i can't say the same for the other half of my report card -sigh- oh well.

LOL my dad was going on about how i didn't put effort for physics before and when i told him i got VHA3 he texted me going: good job, you deserve it for the effort you put in. LOL haha okay 8) Jap is gay - -" we got brownlie smith and i swear 3/4 of the lesson i have no time to write down my own sentences cause yeahhhh & omg i found out jen got like A+ for all her jap tests T_T goodbye subject award, she's so pro at jap ;o must work harder~ pft yeah you better do that penny.

First day of school, well what can i say?

I didn't actually get that much sleep last night for some reason, kept tossing and turning around in bed. It was probably because i slept for like 12 hours the night before so yeah but i managed to wake up at 7:50am without feeling too tired LOL my body clock is so weird, it can basically adjust to any time i choose to sleep as long as i get like more than four hours of sleep ._. i think i'm one of those weird people who tend to become more hyper the less sleep i get but anyways haha.

My dad chose to pms at me and my brother this morning for no reason - -" i was so tempted to hardkorely rage back but yeah i didn't cause then he'd probably just pms more so yeahh. He kept telling us to hurry up for school and raging that we were 'too slow' and not 'concentrated on school' pft as if we could concentrate if he was raging+ it was like 8:00am in the morning - -" who thinks about schoolwork at that time? (well unless you pulled an allnighter cramming but yeah). I feel like my holidays were so sad lol, everyone went on so many outings//didn't need to study but we got forced to go to the QUT library to 'study' which didn't even happen but yeah ^^ cause we're rebel like that. Well basically the start of my day was pretty crappy since i was in a bad mood.

dad: HURRY UP, JEEZ YOU GUYS ARE USELESS, GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE CLOUDS AND HURRY UP , YOU'RE GONNA BE LATE FOR SCHOOL, YOUR TIME MANAGEMENT SUCKS.

got to school, got our timetable and had this moment of utter devastation cause it said that my math C teacher got changed from mr. barrett ( this awesome teacher) to mrs. chenery, everyone in my class was so devo but turns out he's just on holidays for a week phewwww. If he got changed i'd be like in the bottom of a hole sulking probably since he's the only good teacher i have this sem. I HAVE BROWNLIE SMITH FOR JAP NOWW T_T but nah she's alright so far though.

oreo cheesecake

Good afternoon :)

I baked a cheesecake for the first time a couple of days ago, well a oreo cheesecake to be specific. I don't know why but for some reason i don't actually like cheesecakes but since everyone said it was really yummy i decided to make one but yeah, surprisingly my dad liked the cheesecake more than i did. Actually i didn't really like the cheesecake i made, whether thats my own baking skills or i just don't like it in general but yeah haha my dad normally dislikes desserts but for some reason he liked this ._. he finished like almost half the cake by himself in one day LOL

man its school tommorrow )))): the holidays felt so short and like i'm dreading school, no more like my report card which will look like crap when it comes and i'll be owned. Gohiee's birthday outing

So, two days ago Natalie invited me to her birthday outing :) It was a pretty fun day, met up at around 11am in the morning, bought our movie tickets before walking to the city since we're asian and didn't wanna spend money on bus tickets haha. Roamed around and split into separate groups since our original group was too big, eventually we got separated from natalie's group and it was only me, lauren, julie & her bf. Me and lauren just followed julie&her bf around haha and eventually we got to david jones and lauren was like:

'errr do you guys want us to leave you alone?'

Julie: 'yes'

LOLOL it was funny cause Lauren was surprised by Julie's straightforwardness ;) Julie&Gordon are such a cute coupleeee!

Kay she's probably gonna kill me when she reads this but yeah whatever ^^ well i didn't upload any photos of her so i should be safee, well there is one group photo but whatever. We went to pancake manor for lunch (my first time :D) except my table didn't end up ordering any pancakes which totally destroyed the purpose bahaha but we had some really nice nachos/chicken crepe thingyos :D expensive though but we got student discount 8) We got to the cinemas at around 2:05pm in the arvo and all the tickets were sold out bahaha thank goodness we bought ours in the morning! The movie was pretty epic though i think i got confused at some bits haha but OMG BUMBLEBEE IS SO CUTEEEEEE! =D my brother thinks i'm retarded but whatever hahaha.

The movie finished pretty late and so we just walked to Oshin ( this jap restaurant that nat's parents owned). We got free food, everyone was pretty full already but her mum was really nice and kept bringing out sashimi, tempura, oysters, salted beans, fried tofu and drinks lol. Everyone was really full afterwards and then her mum is like ' OKAY NOW ITS TIME FOR HOT POT!' lol haha and so basically we struggled to finish since there were actually two hotpots :L then we had cakeee, a pretty good day and i met a few new people :D

Ignite&voltage barbecue

Good morning guys, i woke up earlier than usual to attempt studying but as you can see i have temporarily given up which is very sad ): but while i'm at it, i shall just blog about the day before yesterday. Me & my brother went to the IGVO (church group) barbecue at Justin's house =D it was pretty fun.

It consisted of: watching people play this game called 'rockband' on ps2 (which includes singing so it was pretty funny to watch jeffrey sing whilst his voice kept breaking) haha. We also played murder in the dark ( basically just hide and seek in the dark) and everyone kept scaring liz cause she was it. We of course had BBQ food and some desserts everyone brought over ;D

Elaine made the cupcakes above^ and darren made the green cupcakes below, they were really yummy =D and like justin was basically doing a cupcake version of chubby bunny, which is basically trying to fit all these cupcakes in his mouth haha, he managed to fit three D: so prooo!

& Wes was was pretending to camwhore with this camera while on video mode and he caught this lolly in his mouth when someone chucked it ( so basically he filmed himself catching a lolly) LOL.

Sorry i can't be bothered to upload big photos today, takes too long and i'm supposed to go back to studying, how very depressing argh. Then work soon at around 11:45am T_T LOL talking about work, a few days ago i met 2 strange customers.

customer 1: I asked her how her day was and she was all like 'GOOD , like there is this guy right and he always like flirts around and breaks girls hearts and sometimes he even dresses up as a girl and like breaks guys hearts & today i saw him this morning and he was dressed as a GUY :D AHAHAH the best day to start your morning' me= uh huh? haha thats good -shiftyeyes-

customer 2: -i hand him coffee- and the customer ( a old guy btw) : OH you're such a lovely girl, do you have a chinese boyfriend to look after you?

I'm sure he meant it in a non-pedo nice way but its kinda weird cause he assumed that i was chinese without even asking - -" not all asians are chinese you know. And he came back again for a refill and started telling my other workmates that i would soon get a chinese boyfriend bleh. I'm taiwanese for goodness sake aiya <_< not being racist but yeahh LOL.

I also bought like this dress and this heart sweater thing since it was for sale =D one was like $12 and the other one was $10 or something like that =D bargainnnn. While i was shopping ( in my work uniform btw) this random lady came up to me and was like:

' Hey, i wanna try this on'

So basically i pointed her down towards the changing rooms and she gave me a weird look and went away, then after she came back and was like: 'excuse me, but i this sleeve is connected by this metal clip thing and i wanna try it on' So basically i told her i didn't work in the store ROFL very awkward.

I'll blog about yesterday later since i shall try go back to studying -sigh- but yeah it was a fun night :)

GOOD EVENING AGAIN :)!

I seem to blogging twice each day for some reason ~ holidays are so bludge and i feel so guilty since I'm not doing anything productive. Basically watching anime, eating, sleeping and thats about it, i should start jap tutor homework, Chinese hw, practice violin, finish chem assignment and exercise but yeah.

Made a pact with myself to get better marks this semester so i won't make my parents disappointed in me again. My dad randomly asked me the other day if i wanted a DSLR to practice photography (as in i pay like $300 he pays $700). Hmmm maybe I'll use that as my goal, if i get 5 A's or 6A's then i shall get one.

Well enough on the insight to my trivial thoughts. Just a few photos i finally figured out how to upload with a larger size and still maintaining the quality! I'm so slow, but I'm happy i figured it out, now the GIF image will probably work :D

Seems as though all those happy moments are flying away from me.

Today i baked strawberry meringues and everton toffee =D went to woolies to buy heaps of stuff and my brother bought some other stuff and we ended up spending like $300 ._. well actually my brother spent the majority, like $250 on his stuff :L but yeah and dad is paying for the rest which was food & a set of measuring scales haha

trish,ernest&rashaun // jeffrey 'camhoring' with me except he ducked at last moment

ablaze camp was amazing :) learnt lots of new stuff and have reflected on many things during the camp. It has made me realise some things and yeah, overall it was really awesome and i learnt alot about god as well. Plus there was also so funny stuff such as:

-justin waiting outside the guys toilet and attacking paul with shaving cream
-going into the haunted house designed by some ignite people (youngest lifegroup) one by one
-went to watch stars in the night sky with elaine, ernest, tricia & heaps of other people

- we were gonna have a bonfire but it rained so everyone 'roasted' there sausages in the fireplace situated in the dining room instead on a random net the chef lent us hahahaha 8)

- staying up till 3am in the morning on the last day with all the asians and watching them eat cup noodles

-pretty much a shaving cream fight broke out in the dining room haha thank goodness i just finished showering

-encouragement notes everyone gave to each other // SUPER ELAINE

sunny was being really retarded and she wore her bunny suit as seen from above ^ and pretty much danced to her korean songs which she is so obsessed with bahaha her sister took a video but i don't have it here sooooo you'll have to harass her sister to see it :L

as well as the events, the food at camp was really good too, there was only ONE chef and he cooked for basically like 80 people, so pro D: he's awesome and he even bake a cake for lauranne since it was her birthday :)

i'm back again and i am currently really bored so i shall list random facts about myself so you guys can know me better, okay actually you guys don't want to know my better cause i'm really retarded and weird but yeah kay you know just a way to kill time haha.

50 FACTS

1. i would rather get a single rose rather than a whole bouquet ( not like i'd get any but still)

2. i hate seafood

3. i hate the wastage of food

4. i have two abnormal random bumps on my head ._.

5. i used to play softball+netball and i joined in the 100m sprint+ long jump in primary school, in other words, i was crazy

6. i used to have really dark tanned skin

7. i am too selfconscious/jealous/sensitive/attention seeking

8. i currently stand at 156cm tall, though i suspect i have recently grown 1 cm ;)

9. i often sleep really late, from around 11:30 - 1:30am

10. i'm usually really hyper at night and wake up feeling dead the next morning

11. i like eating burnt stuff - such as burnt toast and i don't mind cold food, sometimes i grab frozen toast out of the fridge and eat it

12. i like the smell of newspapers/paint but not really girly perfume

13. i started playing the violin when i was 4 and piano 6 and then i quit

15. i am christian :) but my family is not

33. i love taking photos, especially of people because they capture a happy memory which i can never revisit

43. i can swim but i cannot play tennis at all, and soccerballs always find my face

44. things have a way of contradicting me, once i told my friends i wasn't mentally retarded and i walked into a railing right afterwards.

45. i am more hyper on less sleep, if i sleep over 8 hours i get really tired

48. i moved to nz when i was 8 months old and then to aus when i was 7

49. its shameful but to be honest i like attention, i have a bad personality. it's better to warn people first and to lower their expectations than to disappoint them later on in my opinion.

okay its probably very awkward to be listing all this, like revealing bad secrets about myself but over the years i always seem to reveal less and less on my blogs. sometimes it feels like a good thing to pretend i'm perfect and all but other times i feel that i'm not being true to myself. So weird huh? i think i'm in one of those thoughtful moods again at night :L

Hello~
yesterday was BSHS's semi formal ;D so me, sunny & elaine headed early to georgina's house around 10am in the morning and started getting ready. Since the three of us bascially have no knowledge of makeup we relied heavily on georgina bahaha thanks for spending so long on our makeup wifey ;) First she had to 'try' out the makeup on us which took up the first part of the morning then then after lunch she spent an hour each on elaine & sunny's makeup. Sunny's sister spent ages trying to curl sunny's hair but somehow it wouldn't curl so she ended up braiding sunny's hair a little at the back, it looked really nice :)

Towards the last hour georgina started on my makeup but we had bascially no time left since she hasn't started on her hair and my hair wasn't done either. She put fake lashes on all of us though. It was my first time, it was so fun ;D though i admit the makeup process was pretty tiresome since it felt like random things being poked into my eyes but yeah, thanks to georgina we all looked presentable for the night =D

well actually elaine&sunny&georgina looked more than presentable ;) they were hot ladies man. bahaha i was joking that kaido would have a nosebleed if he saw them :L elaine put on extensions which were georgina's & i swear she looked like a moviestar lol.

Elaine's dad took a ton of photos of the process and then we met at sunny's house for pre semi shoots before going to the semi ;D it was good , waiters served out fruit punch, mini pizzas, beef skewers & other stuff, it was a good night cept all of our feet felt dead cause of the highheels LOL.

Everyone looked so good ;o haha, had a balloon fight, danced heaps in the last 20 minutes, they decided to put on really good songs in the end. We finished with 'tonights gonna be a good night' 8) we all kept going to the pro photographer place to get our photos taken bahaha

Good evening readers :) TODAY WAS THE LAST DAY OF BLOCKS !! i am finally free and pretty much just looking foward to the holidays/ semi formal. After blocks me, cindy & kaido decided to go southbank to celebrate so we went to max brenner for the first time :) We were originally planning to just go watch a movie but my dad wanted me home by five so we went max brenner's instead. It was pretty yummy, i wasn't originally feeling hungry but after taking one bite i couldn't stop haha. All of us shared this tutti frutti waffle thingyo, it was $19.50 ;o so expensive.

But anyways it was pretty fun but i think everyone around us was giving us wtf looks cause we were being really weird. Basically cindy&kaido kept dropping their icecream cause they're noob 8) and then cindy made kaido lick it up from the table cause it was a 'waste' to leave it and he actually did LOL

After that we got bored again and went to eat Grill'd chips =D it was so yummy, and yes we were being freaks there as well bahaha and then went to talk around southbank. Didn't want to go home. - -" you know i was really looking foward to the holidays and now i'm just really annoyed. My dad said i can only go on ONE outing this holiday & i have to 'study' at home argh >:@ jeez is holidays why does he have to make me study? He's been controlling all my holidays since last year, no outings, forcing me to go to the library and overall just being friggen annoying. I know its supposedly for my own good but seriously? restricting my LIFE isn't going to help me get better marks. Feeling isolated and having no life on holidays = procastination on school days= fail at school. Sooo yeah, i don't see the point argh i wanna go outttttt T_T was looking foward to holidays so i hardout studied for chem but noooo. -sigh-
