Pages of a novel

Omg guys university offers come out in a couple of hours!!!!! Fingers crossed my future won't be too screwed up haha. Anyway I'm back to tell you about my 3rd last day in Taiwan. I left Kaohsiung in the afternoon and took the High speed Rail to Taichung where elaine and her family kindly came to pick me up.
Since they knew my parents wanted me to go explore the more cultural parts of Taiwan, they took me to this place which the Japanese built in Taiwan. They used to practice Martial arts there or something. It was quite relaxing, you could take off your shoes and walk around on the wooden floors of the pretty buildings.

Yes, elaine has a variety of facial expressions to display.
Imitating the scene from the titanic evidently haha.

Afterwards they dropped us kids (elaine, eric & I ) off at this department store. There we messed around at the fun house and to my amusement, $3 managed to get me about twenty tokens. I also owned elaine at throwing the basketballs hahahaha a score of 100+ compared to elaine's score of 8. She claims she let me win ;) Just went for a bit of late night shopping afterwards at 一中街 , a famous street filled with shops pretty much. Then I went and slept at her houseeeee. Haha okay I swear updates about my Taiwan trip are gonna take a billion years for me to finish since I'm so lazy nowadays. Kind addicted to reading Lord of the rings ahem. Oh well, only two more posts to go :D since life back in Australia hasn't been nearly as fun.

Goodbye for now :D and good luck on university offers and all. Let me know what offers you guys getttt :) Shall look forward to seeing you in uni.

I think it's finally sunk in that I'm not returning to high school anymore. Scrolling through photos, I feel as though I'm no longer a student, no longer a teenager that can mess around with my friends so naively. We're all going to go our separate ways and as much as we don't want it to happen, some of us will drift apart and become mere strangers. It seems to have gone by so fast; exams, the formal and most importantly - our graduation. I'm glad to have enjoyed every moment yet I still wish time were frozen during that period so that I could enjoy being young and carefree for just a little bit longer. I harbour no hopes that uni will be better than high school. No, I think most of the important friendships will have been made in high school and to me that's what is important. I've learnt not to walk around with my heart on my sleeve but I'll say this: Thank you to all those who have walked by me and helped me along the way. Thank you for making each and everyday enjoyable and for always tolerating me. My friends treat me so well that I find it amazing.

We might be heading to different places, a misunderstanding might have rendered us apart but still, I will remember the good times we had together. I want to see all of you again before uni starts. I feel like after this holiday comes to an end a new beginning will have started and we'll no longer be as we were before. Getting all sentimental again haha. Well good night to you all! :)

Hey guys I'm safely back in Brisbane now but omg the weather is so. damn. hot. I miss Taiwan weather ): even though it was rainy and cold. I'm weird, I like rain :3 well I usually do when I'm indoors and watching from inside ya know. Okay that was totally random. Back to the point, the day after Georgina left (6th of Jan) my aunt took me to 美濃 to visit my grandmother :)
Did you guys know that I'm half Hakka (客家人) ? Anyway, my mother's older brother basically drove the four of us down there (his wife, son, my 2 aunts & I). Before that though, he went to pick up his new car and the people there gave him 2 free suitcases and a free plane ticket to hongkong ._. It was nice to visit the place my mum grew up :) My grandma still lives there by herself but luckily all the old neighbours are still there so she has people to talk to.
My Grandma grows so many herbs/vegetables :o
Afterwards they took me to this tourist village thing, there were quite a few traditional things there such as the old clothes people used to wear for farming. There was also this pro guy who was making music by using all these random household items such as toothbrushes etc.
 The weather was soooo good
 My 2nd aunt & grandma :D

 Hehehe

 Pretty flowers :)
 My relativesssss :)
Oh and my uncle took me cousin& I driving ;) Drove illegally for the first time ever. Well I didn't really drive, just made the car go forwards in a straight line before my uncle reversed back to the original position for us to keep practicing. His car was manual though :\ so hard.

Hello guys, obviously the previous post about being a unicorn was written by elaine whilst I was staying at her house (more about that in the next few posts). But anyway, on the 5th of January which also happened to be Georgina's last day on our trip we took the train to Tainan.
Went to visit my Dad's old university since he insisted, perhaps it'll soften him up enough to pay for my whole trip ;) nah jokes I wish. Afterwards we walked all the way to Chihkan tower to have a look.
I won't upload a photo but I saw this rock which was a really really weird shape. When I showed elaine she cracked up because it looked so wrong.
After walking around a bit we went outside and saw this guy making lollipops out of toffee, you could order whatever shape you wanted. Georgina got a chopper made :3
I was gonna get a chopper for you daniel but then realised I already got a monkey one last time soooo I got a crocodile for myself to try :D Couldn't be bothered waiting for him to make a new one from scratch so I just chose one which was already done.
We then took the bus to Anping Treehouse which was quite interesting. The nature seems to have become part of the old house, hence the name I suppose.
Then.... we saw a weird sight: a white guy in a santa claus suit with lanterns walking around throwing stuff (lollies?) at people. He also had this stereo attached to him which was also playing some weird asian music LOL.
We ended the day going to the night market. HAHA SEE WHAT I DID THERE? Okay. Ahem. After that Georgina took the High speed rail back to Taipei whilst I went back to Kaohsiung spend a few more days with my relatives. Thanks for coming with me Georgina :') or else I would've been screwed if I went by myself.

Dear Readers,

I've been keeping this to myself for a few months now, but I feel like it's time for you guys to know. This is hard for me to admit, so I ask that you guys support me no matter what happens. It started happening a few months ago, I woke up one morning with wings. The next day I grew a horn and became sparkly. I finally started to realise that I was becoming a unicorn. In order to hide my true appearance, I learned to control the growth of the horn and wings. At home, I am a rainbow glittery unicorn, and I hope you guys are okay with that. Thanks guys for everything.

From,
Penny the Sparkly Rainbow Unicorn
