Pages of a novel

Hi guys, its a little late, but just updating about my second day in Sydney. I'm actually in melbourne now but ya know, better late than never :P Okay, so I spent the second day near circular quay as well. Aya & I went to eat breakfast at the famous Pancakes on the rocks.
We kept walking past the place we were supposed to go to but finally found it on our map hehe, I'm so proud.
We went in and took ages trying to pick out what we were going to order. Finally we settled on getting pancakes (figuring since it was famous for them). I got this traditional blueberry pancake. I wasn't actually expecting them to be anything special, since you can't really do all that much to make pancakes different from one another right? But they were actually really good, very very fluffy. Except there was too much and I felt so sick after finishing them.
Afterwards, we met up with natalie (she was staying at her boyfriend's house, awwww) and we walked to St Mary's cathedral which was situated near Hyde park. It was soooooo pretty, and there was this guy who was blowing really awesome bubbles.
We did go into the church but there wasn't much going on inside so after walking around a bit we left. It was really majestic though, and so amazingly beautiful.
Ummmm yeah, just observe the buildings hahahahaha, we were so high that day.
I felt a little unwell on that day actually so when natalie & Aya went to go shopping at Westfield I sat down and had a mini nap. For dinner I persuaded them both to go ding tai fung with me!!! Finally got to have the food I've been craving for a few months.

Their food is sooooooo good. But it's so pricey compared to Australia. Natalie, Aya & I shared a plate of veggies, two baskets of those buns above and beef noodle soup but we still had to pay $22 each (well including drinks). It was worth it though.

My most favourite vegetable in the world: water spinach

The wait staff there were so hardcore though, just like in asia. They had way too many staff and they were all walking back and forwards across the restaurant searching for things to do. They even gave us bags to put over our coats + a stand to put our bags. Literally ate my way though Sydney.... 80% of my money so far has been spent on food. Oh well, guess I should make the most of it since Brisbane has nothing. I'm happy because I finally have wifi to blog :3

Anyway, hope the rest of you are having a good holiday :)
Goodnight!

Hi guys! I've safely arrived in Sydney now (Well technically this is already my third day here but ya know).  I know I said I was going to blog about paint ball but since I'm so busy nowadays I guess I'll just update about Sydney!!
They have so many pretty buildings!!

Firstly, let me just say... it is so much bigger than brisbane. Sadly, I'm still a magnet for creeps even here. When Aya and I just arrived at the airport, some gangster looking dude came over and asked us where we were going and that he could take us there for $15 except he hadn't even heard of our hostel  -_-. Then after we decided to take the train, there was a 60 year old man who smelt of fish that was sitting across us in a tracksuit. After sitting in silence for like 5 minutes he was just like

'you girlies got arrangments? If not you can come over to my place'
me= Ummm yeah we got arrangments, meeting with friends
'well my place you can stay for three months, come to my place'

He spoke with a random accent too, so it was really really creepy.

Other than that, we got off at Central station and went to find our hostel. Turns out it's located really close to World square which is where ding tai fung is. Had that for dinner last night, soooooo good.
We met a korean couple here that wanted us to take photos for them and after we did they asked if we needed a photo. I gave my camera to the guy and he pretended to run off with it and I didn't even notice -facepalm-
Anyway, on the first day it was just Aya & I (since natalie was off with her boyfriend hehe) so the two of us just went to visit the Sydney Opera house & Sydney harbour bridge :3 After staying till night time to observe the illuminated structures, we went to scab wifi for two hours at maccas hahahahaha.
Here guys, I know you all love seagulls ;)

We found a really nice spot to sit in where we could see both the sydney harbour bridge and opera house in close proximity.

I'm holding the sydney harbour bridge guys!!! Haha, jokes it doesn't even look like I am.
The city lights are so pretty :3 There was even this amusement park in the distance
We found this plaza place near our hostel with heaaaps of asian cuisine, including japanese so we ate there. Man, gotta say that Sydney has so much more food choices compared to Brisbane (it's ok, I still love you brisbane).

Hi guys, omg I actually feel so exhausted at the moment. I've been going out for the last few days or so and getting home at like 10:30pm or something. My parents are so chill nowadays, letting me stay out late. Anyway, yesterday our group of uni friends combined with another asian group in our course to have a BBQ!!! I met up with thomas (the guy from the other group who was helping me organise the event) + another of his friends to go shopping for food in the morning.

After a few mishaps along the way, we finally arrived at Roma St parklands, the weather was so good, quite sunny and not too cold.
Joon took over the BBQ, I swear he has so many talents.... karaoke, DDR, pool, BBQ yeah HAHA and gaming of course.
 Food glorious food
Justin having an argument with a sausage
Me embarrassing myself on the grassed area trying to catch/kick this feather thing to someone else, I had so many fail moments yesterday (:" When we eventually went to play pool, I had joon on my team, he's really pro yet when we were about to win, I sunk the black ball WITH the white ball, making us lose. Sigh.
We had so much food left over that thomas made us play card games and whoever lost had to eat a slice of bread/ piece of meat/ handful of salad. By the end of the game, we literally finished a whole plate of meat, two loaves of bread and about 80% of the salad. So full. I felt so bad for pinky, she kept losing and had to eat almost 10 pieces of toast
Group photo!! Before proceeding to try take a jump shot
Awkwarddddddd
SUCCESS, kind of. :3 More photos to come later. It was so fun and by the time we cleaned everything up, everyone was ready to go buy some drinks (no not alcohol, cause we're so good 8D ). Met up with kwok who bumped into richie after work and I awkwardly made him hang out with us since I forgot my student ID card and didn't go watch a movie kwok like we planned to. I really wanted to watch fast & furious 6/ The great Gatsby. Sighs. Everyone left afterwards, leaving PK, Tam, kwok, justin, Richie & I. Later On, I realised I left my camera at Roma st parklands.... and my kind friends went back with me to go look for it in the dark :') Thanks so much guys!
I really love this shot ^ It looks so damn cool
Then we decided to do some weird 'the force' thing, I think my camera had some water on the lens, making the photo have a really cool effect. Then Richie & Kwok took a super gay and cute selfie. LOL. They would make such a cute couple, except they're actually straight hahaha.

Had dinner at Funny funny before going off to karaoke, it was free since I collected 10 stamps beforehand, we went so hyper. Finally persuaded justin to sing a bit! :D

Oh my god, this photo makes me laugh so much.
Such a good day and by the time it was 10pm, we started to 'D&M', had to explain to justin what it meant and he kept making it awkward by going 'omg guys, are we D&M'ING NOW???' Hahaha. I swear I'm getting home later and later each time I go out. I love staying out at night time though, the atmosphere is so good. Anyway, I'll blog about paintball today later, so tired. Flying off to sydney tomorrow. Good evening guys!

Hi guys! :) Alot of things have been happening these days but I find that I'm so exhausted every time I arrive home so I don't even end up blogging. Anyway, just a short summary I guess. A couple of days ago, my brother had his semi formal
Other than that, I also finished my exams on the same day!!! So we went to celebrate yet AGAIN. Haha my uni friends & I pretty much celebrated after every exam. We went for milk tea, yee sum and a friend came to find me  as well :) Afterwards we decided to go play pool. Joon has been teaching us how to play pool properly hehehe.

Went for dinner at new shanghai afterwards, we spit the bill so we could all have a variety of food. Introduced a few people to the pork bun things which have soup in them. I can't wait till I get to sydney to have some at a restaurant called Ding tai fung.

Justin chose beef noodle

Some pork bun thingy

Xiao long bao
Then we decided to be pigs and go have noggi. Tom was working and gave us a discount :') Thanks so much tom!!
Meet my friends, people who make uni heaps more enjoyable for me.
Yoonie & tam :D my little kiddos
Afterwards it was only pk, joon, justin & I left but we didn't want to go home so we went to passion tree cause we had nothing else to do. We were all super full but it would've been awkward sitting there not buying anything so we got honey bread, it was my first time trying it.
I love watching pk tease justin, it's actually really hilarious because she's just so chill and straightforward and he's like :'). HAHAHA. She even did a imitation of a hilarious pose he did in one of his selfies.

Okay, now I'm getting exceptionally lazy and will proceed to spam you guys with pictures of food (not that you even care what I eat, I just have this hobby with taking pictures of food).

Firstly, I went to jap tutor on friday and my tutor asked me to have lunch with her so she made me food after our lesson :') ♡
She told me she adds chocolate & oyster sauce in her curry ._. but that it is only for light flavouring. I was so surprised, but I couldn't taste it in the curry, guess thats the trick with 'light flavouring'.
Dinner the other day with natalie :)

I made strawberry and vanilla swirl cookies for our chinese school end of term break up party. They didn't turn out sweet enough though  cause I was trying to make them healthier by putting less sugar :\ So I ended up coating the top with a bit of egg and sprinkling some caster sugar and putting them back into the oven to bake for a little. Somehow they were tasteless to me, but everyone else said they tasted fine.

Our party food at chinese school today xD We were teasing the teacher about shouting us hot pot last week and she told us it was too expensive so we joked to her about taking us to maccas. To our immense surprise, she turned up at the classroom today, held up a gigantic bag of maccas and telling us to 'eat up otherise it'll get cold'. :') i love my teacher omg. She literally bought burgers for all ten of us. Our class is awesome.
