This morning i started work at 8am, unaware that later in the day i would encounter something pretty amusing yet kinda scary. Around lunch time a lady ordered something and after around 10 minutes of waiting she got really pissed. Sure, our customers rarely have to wait that long but we were kinda down on ingredients cause of the flood & we were kinda tied down by 69 other orders.

I apologized since i was the server (techinically i should've been serving other customers) & then she was still pissed so i asked her for the receipt so that i could get her order myself. She refused and was like ' YOU JUST SERVED ME A FEW MOMENTS AGO' okay i have the memory span of a goldfish i admit but isn't it normal to be tired after standing for more than four hours straight with a million customers? Anyway, thats besides the point, well anyway so she started grilling me with questions like ' WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SO CALLED 60 SECONDS OF WAITING?' first of all, its 80 seconds for SERVING not waiting & second of all we were really really busy. I'm not pissed at her, kinda freaked actually, don't get annoyed at strangers for some reason ._. well anyway. She started muttering about how crap our new system was & how it was useless and stupid blah blah blah.

When we finally gave her the food she stormed to the side and started muttering things about our service while there was like 3 lines of customers waiting <_<>

nice lady: you shouldn't yell at them, they're just doing their job
pissed lady: THEIR SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH CRAP SERVICE. THEIR NEW SYSTEM IS COMPLETELY SCREWED UP. ITS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS
nice lady: no, i'm just saying, you shouldn't take your anger out on them you know.
Its a nice example your setting for your kids there (the pissed lady had a pram and a kid)
pissed lady: YOU BITCH! (chucks her fanta all over the other lady)
nice lady: -looks with contempt at the pissed lady & walks away
chuckling-

well, don't you think that customer had such a bad temper? Its not like we completely ignored her or anything, we tried to get her food. (She already got all her drinks way before) & refused to communicate with us ~ haha everyone else was staring at her afterwards before she stormed away. We ended up having to send someone out to mop up the whole floor after she left lol

okay so anyway, it was slightly amusing to see her pissed like that but in a way its kinda sad to watch a grown lady have such a crappy temper <_<>
