Sydney day four

by - 9:24 PM

Hello guys! This day was our last day in Sydney before taking our 8:05pm plane to Melbourne. We woke up early, checked out of our hostel and headed off to eat breakfast at the famous Bills. Aya was horrified because both nat & I hadn't even heard of it until she told us. Apparently it's supposed to be famous in Sydney and there are lots of those franchise stores in japan. On this day, we also went to the famous Paddington markets.

I guess Aya must've been right because when we arrived, there was a huge line of people waiting and the lady in the store told us we had to wait for half an hour to get in (it was a cold rainy day as well). The store was fully packed when we got in and there were still a gazillion people waiting in the lobby of a hotel right next to Bills

The food was soooooo pricey so we decided to share three dishes and just order our drinks separately. I've never paid so much for breakfast in my life -cries-
It's okay, at least the food looked awesome!! The scrambled eggs were super fluffy too (well, the store IS famous for them after all).

Cause I'm the fat pig yo. HAHAHA jokes, it actually took us so long to cut everything into thirds just so we could each have a bit of everything. Afterwards we headed off to the Paddington markets. There was this guy there was doing amazing tricks with cards and a colouring book, all three of us stood there for 20 minutes in the rain just to watch. In the end, he was so good that he managed to convince this other guy to buy this 'magic' pack of cards for $50. I must say, the flowers in Sydney are quite cheap. I'm such a sucker for roses.

We went into this cute little shop selling nice chocolates to look for a present to get for Jimmy, a friend of Aya's who was going to take us around Melbourne on our first day. We spent ages in the shop because the chocolates all looked so unique and amazing. I even found mushroom shaped ones!!

It started to rain a little heavily so we got on the bus and headed off to Westfield shopping centre to hide from the bad weather. Natalie bought the magic book off the guy at the paddington markets before and whilst we were waiting for Aya to finish her shopping, she decided to try out her 'magic trick' on a random little boy. He kind of just stared at her and then left quickly HAHAHAHAAH. Ah natalie & her love for little children.

Of course, I just had to go visit Laduree, a shop that originated from France that is famous for macarons! Jen was kind enough to bring me back a whole box last time she came back from france. Thanks so much jenwen :3
I don't know if it is this expensive in France but the ones we saw at this store were so overpriced. The macarons were like $3.20 each~ They didn't have the cool flavours like Lavender & Rose either ): Guess the ones from france are cooler.
We rushed to get on the Monorail afterwards to head back to our hostel and collect our suitcases because it would've taken way to long if we walked. Coincidentally, it was also the last operating day of the Monorail (it was closing down forever for some reason). There were heaps and heaps of people but we really needed to get on the monorail so we squished into this tiny carriage. When we got in, I heard two chinese people complaining in chinese about how we were so annoying, squishing into the carriage etc. etc.

I then turned right around to natalie and spoke chinese to her just to let them know we could understand. Seriously, why would you bitch about someone in chinese when you know there are asians standing right beside you who might be able to understand? Then one of them was even more stupid and turned to her friend saying

 '講中文的' (omg they speak chinese)

Duh, I'm like 30cm away from you, I can totally hear you. Sighs.

We made it to the airport just in time, natalie's boyfriend was there to say goodbye to her. Omg they are so cute :') Aya and I tried to go the toilet and walk away from them to give them privacy :P Towards the end though, I couldn't help being a creep and taking gazillion photos of them together. I think daniel thinks I'm some kind of weirdo stalker now haha.
Natalie was giving us the wtf look because Aya & I were more sad about her leaving daniel than she was haha. Then... it was off to melbourne!!!
Hi, I am the grudge

Goodnight!!
